Making Of The World

In the beginning, there was Void. From the Void arose Stone. And Stone called to the Void and called Fire from the Void.

Fire burned Stone, and Stone issued forth monstrosities and horrors. And Stone called to the Void and called Water from the Void.

Water cracked Stone, and Stone issued forth monstrosities and horrors. And Stone called to the Void and called Air from the Void.

Air worried Stone, and Stone issued forth monstrosities and horrors. Water quenched Fire, Fire burned Water. Air blew the tumult against Stone, and they begat Chaos, who Laughed. And Chaos filled the Void and grew.

And Stone called to himself, and Moradin issued forth from Stone. Moradin heard Chaos laugh, and he knew sadness.

Moradin called to Fire and called to Water and called to Air and called his brothers and sisters. Together, they conquored Orcus, Hecate, and Dagon and cast them into hell.

Moradin fashioned the earth to gate them there, and retired to the World Mountain.
